About CareConnect
Trust is the missing infrastructure between capable local organizations and the global partners that can support them.
CareConnect is an Intelligent Networking and verified registry platform that connects trusted organizations and experts in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) with partners around the world, so the right support can reach the right place, faster.
We focus on health and education, enabling data-informed, trust-based collaboration across NGOs, startups, researchers, funders, volunteers, institutions, and mission-aligned companies, supported by AI to improve discovery, matching, and coordination.
The idea behind CareConnect emerged from a simple but persistent observation: while many organizations in LMICs have strong local expertise and significant impact potential, they often lack access to global networks, funders, resources, and decision-makers, not due to a lack of capacity, but a lack of access and trust-based connection.
Founded by Sarah Sarnami and shaped through extensive engagement with NGOs, startups, and institutional actors across regions, CareConnect was developed through research, interviews, and feasibility studies conducted between 2022 and 2025. These conversations consistently pointed to the same need: collaboration tools that go beyond directories and introductions, and instead strengthen trust, visibility, and coordination.
CareConnect, as a member of The Hague Humanity Hub — a global community of changemakers — is building an intelligent infrastructure for cross-border collaboration, supporting responsible partnerships, better alignment, and sustainable impact aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Founder & CEOWith over 14 years of experience in the social development sector and working with international NGOs such as Childhood Cancer International (Netherlands), Sarah repeatedly encountered capable organizations in LMICs struggling not with impact delivery, but with visibility, trust, and access to global partners. This experience motivated her to establish CareConnect as a strategic and scalable way to address systemic gaps in collaboration across the health and education sectors.
